Initial requirement
- Submit a written application to Lekki Free Zone Development Company FZC (LFZDC).
- Sign a Memorandum of Understanding for investment in Lekki Free Zone.
- The Memorandum of Understanding has a validity period of three months.
Enterprise registration
- Complete and submit the prescribed application forms and supporting documents.
- Pay the non-refundable application/registration fee applicable to the investment category.
- LFZDC issues a Provisional Approval Letter following review.
- LFZDC issues the Operating Licence to the approved applicant/investor.
Investment agreement
- Execute the Investment Agreement with LFZDC.
- Complete the Deed of Sub-lease documentation.
- Notarise the Investment Agreement and other required documents.
Project development
- Submit construction plans and design scheme within six months of the Deed of Sub-lease.
- Obtain LFZDC approval for the construction plan and design scheme.
- Commence construction within six months of the Letter of Approval.
- Complete site inspection before equipment installation.
- Commission equipment and notify zone management before production begins.
- All projects must comply with Nigerian laws, industrial policy and the approved LFZ master plan.
